Software
- MuseBook® Score for organ
- SharpEye® music scanning software
- Finale® music notation software
- Recordare® Dolet for XML
Description
The page turning software opens in the score library. There's a toolbar at the top of the page which will hide itself automatically unless you want it to remain visible.
Tempos are programmable on two levels: choose the permanent tempo for performance, and the temporary tempo for practice. The software will play the piece for you through the organ at the permanent tempo if you want to hear it, or the passage you're practicing.
The music is displayed full screen, and the software will follow the notes as you play. You can highlight, or halo - or both - the notes as you play. When you reach the bottom system, the first system of the next page appears at the top of the screen.
A small red arrow will appear at the end of the last system to remind you to look up, and another one above the system at the top of the page pointing down at the new system, reminding you to look there. When you finish the bottom system and begin the new system at the top of the page, the remainder of the old page vanishes and the remainder of the new page appears.
Your eyes never leave your music! OrganMuse will wait for you - say, if you stumble over a passage - and will find you even if wrong notes are played. You can also practice a single stave, such as pedals alone, and OrganMuse will follow and turn the pages. Visual indicators will, if desired, remind you to take the repeats, pointing to them in the music.
Marking your scores is easy! OrganMuse offers a variety of pen sizes and colors. There's a highlighter that provides the same brush stroke and color options so that the music can be color-coded, if desired. An eraser function erases the marks but not the music.
A rich selection of library functions give you unprecedented control over the organization of your music. The scores for an entire concert can be placed in order into a single book and instantly recalled. There's also a search engine for locating a particular piece quickly, using a variety of search options.
MIDI Commander registration advance is simple, and will work on any organ that uses MIDI stop commands. All you have to do is place the Midi Commander markers on the music at the places you want the registration to change. Then, preset the pistons for a piece as usual, using only the general pistons, and upload those pistons, one at a time, into the software. The settings will remain permanent until you change or erase them, and you can save all your settings for future use on other organs for the same piece.
The functionality and appearance of the software is highly customizable through the toolbar, and the help button contains the software tutorial manual, which can be printed out.
The music for the OrganMuse system is derived from Finale notation files, and the current versions of Finale and SharpEye are included so that you can convert your favorite music pieces to the MusicXML format that the OrganMuse software runs on. You can either play the music into Finale and convert it from there, or scan the paper music in using SharpEye and import it into Finale. It's a three-part process and the demonstration video walks you through each step. Organ music files in the XML format are available for purchase on this site, with more sites coming online in the near future.

Description
The OrganMuse system is supplied with all the hardware and software installed, configured and tested to ensure immediate and trouble-free operation. All you have to do is turn it on!
The OrganMuse system begins with the Cybernet© i-945 All-In-One® LCD PC with 19" touch screen monitor and wireless keyboard and mouse. The computer is built right into the monitor, with an integrated touch screen for ease of navigation through the OrganMuse program. The computer comes with the latest Windows operating system and the manufacturer's warranty.
The unique Universal Mounting Bracket® (patent pending) - or UMB - provides a secure attachment for your monitor to virtually any organ music rack. Made of light-weight aluminum and coated with a no-stick silicon pad, the UMB will not damage any music rack on which it is correctly mounted. Guaranteed!
Unless you order OrganMuse as a built-in, the UMB will come already attached to your computer. Simply slide the computer into position and clamp the assembly to the top of your music rack. If your organ cover permits, you can even fold down your rack with the monitor attached and lock it in the case for secure storage!
The Wacom® Graphire4 ® Tablet, Pen and Wireless Mouse allows you to write on the score, using a variety of brush stroke sizes and colors. There's a small square in the center of the tablet, which represents the computer screen. The wireless mouse functions like a normal mouse by passing it over the small square. The pen also functions like a mouse, as well as a pen, and will move the cursor by moving the pen above the tablet. When the position is correct, simply touch the pen to the tablet and write as you normally would. Touching or tapping the pen to the tablet functions like a left-click, and there's a right-click button on the pen itself.
The M-Audio® USB MidiSport Uno ® MIDI interface is self-powered, connects the computer to the organ using one of the computer's USB jacks, and plugs directly into the organ's MIDI in and out jacks.
